Fashion Buyer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fashion Buyer based in Brazil.

This is a highly analytical and detail-oriented buying role within the luxury resale space, focused on evaluating designer products, pricing strategies, and market trends across multiple categories including handbags, watches, jewelry, shoes, and apparel. You will play a key role in supporting buying decisions by combining fashion expertise with strong data analysis to determine optimal purchase and resale pricing. The role sits at the intersection of luxury fashion, e-commerce, and data-driven decision-making, requiring both commercial awareness and precision in execution. You will work closely with a collaborative buying team to support sourcing strategies and ensure profitability across inventory flows. A strong understanding of luxury brands, seasonal collections, and secondary market dynamics is essential. This is a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment where organization, adaptability, and ownership mindset are critical to success.

Accountabilities

  • Support the buying team by conducting in-depth research across luxury categories such as handbags, accessories, watches, jewelry, shoes, and apparel, providing insights to guide purchasing decisions.
  • Analyze resale market trends and pricing data to determine appropriate buy and resale prices, ensuring healthy margins and competitive positioning.
  • Evaluate client submissions and identify designer products, models, and SKUs using internal databases and market research tools.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing buying documentation, pricing guides, and internal process materials to support team efficiency.
  • Perform operational buying support tasks, including data updates, file tracking, reporting, and cross-functional coordination with other departments.
  • Requirements

    • 2–5 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or product acquisition within fashion brands, retail, or department stores.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with high proficiency in Excel, spreadsheets, and retail math.
    • Experience with inventory management or OTB processes is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of luxury fashion brands and resale market dynamics is a plus.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in remote teams.
    • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a data-driven, entrepreneurial environment with a strong ownership mindset.
