This role is a highly technical, field-based position supporting medium voltage energy solutions across industrial and utility environments in the U.S. You will act as a trusted on-site expert, delivering installation support, technical training, and hands-on troubleshooting for critical electrical systems. Working directly with utility personnel, contractors, and field crews, you will ensure safe and effective product application while strengthening long-term customer relationships. The role is heavily travel-oriented, requiring strong independence and adaptability across diverse field conditions. You will also contribute to product improvement through field insights, failure analysis, and collaboration with engineering and sales teams. This is a high-visibility position where your expertise directly impacts infrastructure reliability and energy system performance.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for delivering advanced field service support for medium voltage product lines, ensuring safe installation, proper usage, and strong customer understanding across utility and industrial environments.

  • Provide expert technical support for medium voltage energy products across industrial and utility customers.
  • Deliver hands-on training to electricians, line crews, splicers, and electrical supervisors.
  • Conduct on-site installation support and ensure correct product application and system performance.
  • Lead technical training sessions, certification programs, and customer workshops.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, seminars, and industry events.
  • Perform basic product failure analysis and prepare detailed technical reports.
  • Support product demonstrations and assist in new product rollouts in the field.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, utilities, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback from field operations to improve product design, performance, and reliability.
  • Perform tool maintenance and support overhead product training programs as required.
  • Identify new field application opportunities and collaborate with internal teams on improvements.
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate brings strong field service or electrical utility experience, with the ability to operate independently in complex technical environments while delivering high-quality customer support and training.

    • 5+ years of experience in field service, electrical systems, utilities, or industrial power environments.
    • High school diploma required; technical or vocational training preferred.
    • Strong understanding of medium voltage systems or similar electrical infrastructure.
    • Experience delivering technical training or instructional support is highly valued.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive field mindset.
    • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
    • Ability to work independently in field environments and manage frequent travel demands.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
    • High energy, self-motivated approach with strong attention to safety and detail.
