This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, analytics, and field operations within a highly specialized medical technology environment focused on addressing complex heart valve disease. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across sales and clinical field teams, supporting everything from compensation design and quota setting to performance analytics and territory alignment. The position is highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with sales leadership, finance, IT, and commercial operations teams. You will develop scalable systems, dashboards, and reporting tools that directly shape field effectiveness and business outcomes. This is a high-impact role where analytical rigor meets strategic execution, helping ensure commercial teams are aligned, motivated, and equipped to deliver results. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead critical commercial insights and operational activities that support sales performance, planning, and execution across the field organization. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and maintaining US pricing and rebate models, ensuring accuracy of inputs, calculations, and reporting
- Producing net ASP reporting and rebate analyses to support forecasting and customer-level financial tracking
- Developing sales and clinical compensation frameworks, including quota setting, incentive structures, and performance tracking models
- Managing monthly variable compensation calculations and ensuring accurate, timely payments to field teams
- Building sales performance analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to support strategic business decision-making
- Acting as system owner for sales analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, QlikView), ensuring data integrity and automation of reporting
- Partnering with IT and cross-functional teams to enhance commercial systems and reporting capabilities
- Leading territory alignment processes based on business needs and sales leadership input
- Delivering ad hoc analyses and insights to support commercial planning and operational improvements
Requirements:
This role requires strong commercial operations, analytics, and business planning experience, ideally within a complex, data-driven organization. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial analytics, business strategy, or financial planning
- Experience in field sales or commercial organization environments is strongly preferred
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Oracle, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of sales operations, compensation design, forecasting, and performance management frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present insights clearly
- Strong project management capabilities, including managing timelines, priorities, and cross-functional deliverables
- Ability to think strategically while also executing at a detailed analytical level
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced, complex environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive work forward independently when needed
