This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pre-Press Technical Designer based in Brazil.
This is a highly technical, production-focused role within a fast-paced visual communications environment, where precision and structure are critical to successful manufacturing outcomes. You will act as the bridge between approved creative artwork and physical production, ensuring every file is correctly prepared for fabrication processes such as printing, routing, and assembly. The role requires deep expertise in Adobe Illustrator and a strong understanding of how signage is physically built. You will collaborate closely with production teams, project managers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across high-volume workflows. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technical detail, problem-solving, and turning complex designs into production-ready assets that directly impact real-world outputs.
You will be responsible for transforming approved artwork into precise, structured production files that support fabrication and manufacturing workflows, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all deliverables. You will prepare cut files, organize layered Adobe Illustrator documents, and develop clear production documentation that enables smooth execution by fabrication teams. You will review designs to proactively identify technical or production issues before they reach manufacturing, reducing errors and rework. You will collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements, support workflow efficiency, and maintain high standards of file organization. You will also manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume environment while ensuring all outputs meet strict technical specifications.
You should have strong hands-on experience in Adobe Illustrator, with the ability to work confidently with vector files, layers, paths, and structured artwork intended for production. Prior experience in pre-press, signage, large-format printing, or similar technical production environments is essential. A solid understanding of how physical signage is manufactured and how digital files translate into fabrication outputs is required. You must be highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in fast-moving workflows. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with technical and operational teams are also key to success in this role.
