Wordpress Engineering Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista de Teste SR based in Brazil.

This is a senior quality engineering role responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of complex digital solutions across web, mobile, and API ecosystems. You will work throughout the full software development lifecycle, combining advanced testing strategies, automation frameworks, and modern quality engineering practices. The role requires strong collaboration with agile squads to identify risks early, improve test coverage, and accelerate delivery with confidence. You will also contribute to defining quality standards, enhancing automation architecture, and promoting best practices across teams. With exposure to large-scale, integrated systems, this position offers a highly impactful environment where quality is a strategic driver. • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies across functional and non-functional areas, including web, mobile, API, and microservices architectures.
• Develop and execute automated test suites, ensuring scalability, reliability, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Define test plans, scenarios, and coverage strategies aligned with product and business requirements.
• Drive quality engineering practices within agile teams, participating in ceremonies and contributing to refinement and planning.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and critical scenarios early in the development lifecycle, promoting Shift Left practices.
• Contribute to test automation architecture, frameworks, and tooling improvements across squads.
• Apply AI-driven testing approaches, including test generation, prioritization, and intelligent automation techniques.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end quality delivery.
• Mentor QA professionals and support the evolution of testing maturity within teams and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in software testing across functional, regression, integration, API, and exploratory testing.
• Strong background in test automation for web, mobile, and API-based systems.
• Experience with modern programming languages used in test automation (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or Python).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into delivery workflows.
• Experience working with microservices, distributed systems, and complex integrations.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and participation in agile ceremonies.
• Experience applying Shift Left practices and risk-based testing strategies.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with AI applied to testing is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
