This role is part of a fast-paced managed services environment where you will support complex, multi-tenant IT infrastructures across a diverse client base. You will act as a key escalation point for advanced technical issues spanning servers, networks, and cloud systems, ensuring rapid diagnosis and resolution of incidents. The position requires strong technical depth combined with excellent communication skills, as you will regularly interact with clients and internal engineering teams. You will contribute to maintaining stable, secure, and optimized environments while continuously improving operational processes. This is a highly hands-on role with exposure to a wide range of technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security tools. It is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic, service-driven setting and enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will provide advanced technical support across client environments while ensuring reliable system performance, clear communication, and continuous improvement of IT operations.

  • Handle escalated incidents across servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments, ensuring timely diagnosis and resolution.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring service transparency.
  • Support and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Intune environments.
  • Troubleshoot networking components including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and VPN configurations.
  • Apply endpoint security, backup, disaster recovery, and patch management best practices.
  • Use scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell to improve efficiency and resolution speed.
  • Document all actions, contribute to knowledge bases, and support continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a mentor and escalation resource for junior engineers while collaborating with leadership on operational improvements.
  • Requirements:

    This position requires strong hands-on systems administration experience in multi-tenant or managed services environments, combined with solid technical depth and communication skills.

    • 3–5 years of IT support or systems administration experience, preferably in an MSP or enterprise environment.
    • Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration.
    • Experience with networking fundamentals including Layer 2/3 concepts, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and VPNs.
    • Familiarity with endpoint security tools, backup solutions, and patch management platforms.
    • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
    • Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and change control skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong client-facing ability.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) are considered a plus.
