Division Finance Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Division Finance Manager based in the United States.
This is a high-impact finance leadership role embedded directly within an operating division, acting as a key strategic partner to regional and divisional operations leadership. You will own the end-to-end financial rhythm of the business, translating complex operational data into clear, actionable insights that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and productivity improvements. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on financial analysis in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You will be responsible for forecasting, performance management, and decision support across the full P&L, from sales funnel to working capital. In addition, you will help elevate financial discipline across field operations while building scalable, data-driven finance capabilities. This position also includes team leadership responsibilities, mentoring analysts and strengthening a growing field finance function.
Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary financial partner to divisional and regional operations leadership, supporting decision-making through timely insights, performance analysis, and strategic guidance. Lead recurring financial cadences including weekly performance updates, monthly reviews, and quarterly business planning cycles.
- Own the division’s driver-based forecasting and annual planning process, ensuring alignment with corporate targets while continuously improving forecast accuracy and variance analysis.
- Analyze key business drivers across revenue, pricing, mix, labor productivity, pipeline conversion, and margin performance, translating data into actionable operational recommendations.
- Oversee financial integrity across reporting, close processes, and working capital management, partnering closely with accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Build and develop a small team of financial analysts, establishing strong operating standards, coaching capabilities, and scalable ways of working.
- Support transformation initiatives by improving financial systems, dashboards, and KPI frameworks using modern analytics and planning tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to operational finance, business partnering, and P&L ownership or support in complex organizations.
- Strong expertise in driver-based forecasting, financial modeling (advanced Excel), budgeting, and performance analytics.
- Experience in multi-site, field-based, or operationally complex environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with modern finance and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake, or EPM systems) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior operational leaders and drive decisions without direct authority.
