This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Product Engineer (Full Stack/NodeJs) - Technology Company based in Brazil.

You will act as a key technical builder, shaping and scaling a next-generation data marketplace designed to deliver trusted, high-quality datasets to businesses and AI-driven organizations. The role is highly hands-on, with direct exposure to leadership and significant influence over both technical architecture and product direction. You will build end-to-end features, from backend systems to user-facing dashboards, in a context where speed, ownership, and autonomy are essential. • Build and enhance full-stack product features, including buyer-facing interfaces, admin panels, and internal tools that support platform operations and user workflows.
• Develop dashboards, reporting systems, and data visualization features that transform complex datasets into actionable insights for users and stakeholders.
• Design and implement backend logic, SQL-driven workflows, and integrations with internal systems and external REST APIs using NodeJS.
• Collaborate closely with founders and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and scalable product features.
• Continuously improve platform performance, usability, reliability, and maintainability while contributing to architectural and roadmap discussions.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows and improve delivery efficiency.
• Operate with high autonomy, taking ownership from ideation through deployment in a fast-paced, product-centric environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product engineering or full-stack development, ideally building SaaS products, marketplaces, dashboards, or B2B platforms.
• Strong proficiency in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with a deep understanding of responsive design and browser fundamentals.
• Solid experience with NodeJS and REST API design, including third-party integrations and backend service development.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, especially in data-heavy environments.
• Proven ability to independently deliver features end-to-end, with strong debugging, problem-solving, and system-thinking skills.
• Experience working in agile or startup environments, balancing speed, quality, and ownership under minimal supervision.
• Excellent English communication skills and proven ability to collaborate directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) is strongly preferred.
