This role is a senior-level, customer-facing engineering position focused on designing and supporting advanced electrical power distribution systems for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical infrastructure.
You will act as a key technical bridge between customer needs and internal engineering execution, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions for high-density and AI-driven environments.
The position combines deep electrical systems expertise with strong client engagement, requiring the ability to translate complex requirements into practical system architectures.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, project management, and manufacturing to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
Expect to lead technical discussions, design reviews, and customer engagements throughout the full project lifecycle.
This is a high-impact role contributing directly to the evolution of next-generation computing and power infrastructure.
Accountabilities:
- Review and interpret customer specifications, one-line diagrams, and Basis of Design documents to define technical requirements.
- Design and support medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, PDUs, STS, and RPPs.
- Translate customer needs and AI workload demands into scalable and reliable electrical system architectures.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact across the full project lifecycle.
- Lead customer meetings, technical reviews, design walkthroughs, and clarification sessions.
- Support technical proposals, quotations, RFP responses, and submittal documentation.
- Coordinate with project management and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to customers and stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits, technical evaluations, and industry events as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and emerging technology adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical power systems, ideally in data center, mission-critical, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with OEM electrical platforms and complex infrastructure systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple customer-facing technical projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
- Preferred experience with consulting engineering firms, EPCs, OEMs, or hyperscale infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with AI-driven infrastructure requirements, ERP/CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite), and large-scale data center deployments is a plus.
- Competitive base salary range of $130,000–$140,000 annually
