This is a strategic, science-driven commercial role focused on shaping how advanced biopharma research markets are defined, engaged, and expanded through innovative imaging and life science technologies. You will act as a key bridge between scientific research communities and commercial strategy, translating complex biopharma workflows into scalable, high-value use cases that drive adoption and pipeline growth. The role involves engaging senior scientific stakeholders, identifying emerging research trends, and influencing how solutions are positioned across discovery, translational, and early development environments. Operating in a highly collaborative, cross-functional setting, you will help define market opportunities and strengthen scientific credibility in a rapidly evolving segment. This position blends deep scientific expertise with commercial acumen, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on market engagement. Working remotely across the United States, you will play a central role in accelerating growth within a high-impact life sciences organization.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute biopharma market development strategies by translating complex scientific workflows into clear, scalable, and differentiated commercial use cases.
- Engage with senior scientific stakeholders in biopharma and biotech organizations to understand research challenges, emerging trends, and workflow needs.
- Identify and shape early-stage commercial opportunities by aligning scientific insights with commercial positioning and pipeline development goals.
- Build and scale repeatable market use cases that can be deployed across accounts to accelerate adoption of imaging and life science solutions.
- Act as the voice of the customer by capturing, synthesizing, and communicating scientific insights to influence product strategy and market positioning.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine go-to-market approaches, improve opportunity qualification, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in life sciences such as cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, oncology, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of biopharma R&D workflows, including discovery, translational research, or early drug development environments.
- Proven experience working within biopharma, biotech, or translational research settings, with the ability to engage credibly with senior scientific stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific concepts into actionable commercial strategies or applied solutions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with experience working across scientific, technical, and commercial teams.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to assess market opportunities and define scalable use cases.
- Experience in areas such as spatial biology, advanced imaging, biomarker development, or cell-based assays is a plus.
- Prior exposure to customer-facing scientific roles (applications, consulting, or technical sales) is highly valued.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% for customer engagement, events, and field activities.
