Senior HR Operations Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior HR Operations Executive based in India.

This is a high-impact HR operations role focused on delivering a seamless, efficient, and employee-centric experience across the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and offboarding processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance across HR systems. The role sits at the intersection of HR, Finance, and business teams, requiring strong coordination and attention to detail. You will also contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability and operational excellence. Working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will help shape a transparent and supportive employee experience. This position is ideal for someone who combines operational rigor with a strong people-first mindset.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, induction, confirmations, transfers, and exits.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of employee data within HRIS platforms and related systems.
  • Process monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with Finance and external vendors for accurate and timely payroll execution.
  • Administer employee benefits including insurance, reimbursements, and statutory compliance components such as PF, ESI, and gratuity.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee queries related to HR processes, payroll, and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal HR policies, supporting audits and documentation requirements.
  • Generate HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support leadership decision-making.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement across HR operations.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture, Finance, and business stakeholders to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Commerce; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations or HR Generalist roles, preferably in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
    • Strong hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS tools such as Keka, GreytHR, or Zoho People.
    • Excellent Excel and data management skills with a strong analytical mindset.
    • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and statutory regulations in India.
    • Proven ability to manage sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple teams.
    • Detail-oriented with a process-driven and execution-focused mindset.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Experience in HR automation, analytics, or employee engagement initiatives is a plus.
