Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage recurring compensation programs, including merit reviews, promotion cycles, bonus programs, equity adjustments, and other compensation initiatives
- Serve as a trusted advisor on compensation-related decisions, including offers, promotions, retention strategies, and off-cycle compensation adjustments
- Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders to provide guidance on compensation philosophy, pay decisions, and compensation best practices
- Maintain and enhance salary structures, job leveling frameworks, and compensation architecture to support organizational growth and consistency
- Support job classification, leveling, and job family placement processes across the organization
- Monitor compensation-related legislation and regulatory changes, ensuring policies and practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local requirements
- Manage compensation data within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting compensation cycle administration
- Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to provide competitive insights and inform compensation strategy
- Prepare executive-level compensation reports, recommendations, and committee materials to support strategic decision-making
- Lead special projects and compensation initiatives, transforming complex business needs into structured, data-driven solutions
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in compensation management, preferably within high-growth technology or SaaS organizations
- Strong expertise in compensation program design, administration, benchmarking, and compensation cycle management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis techniques
- Experience working with compensation survey providers and third-party compensation benchmarking vendors
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms, including compensation management modules and related workflows
- Deep understanding of compensation-related regulations, including wage and hour laws, pay equity legislation, and classification requirements
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable recommendations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional partnerships across People, Finance, and business teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment
- Authorization to work lawfully in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support
