Senior People Consultant

This role sits at the heart of the People function, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, managers, and employees across the organization. You will play a key role in shaping a positive, high-performance culture by providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. The position blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution, ensuring people programs are effectively implemented and continuously improved. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional People teams to support scalable solutions that enhance team effectiveness and engagement. This is a highly influential role where sound judgment, coaching ability, and strong business acumen directly impact organizational health. You will also leverage people data and insights to guide decisions and proactively address workforce challenges in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will act as a strategic People advisor and operational partner, supporting leaders and employees across a wide range of people-related matters, including:
- Providing expert guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness
- Partnering with leadership to identify development needs, support team health initiatives, and implement People programs and solutions
- Advising on complex employee relations cases, including investigations, policy interpretation, and resolution of workplace concerns
- Supporting organizational initiatives such as change management, job eliminations, and Diversity & Inclusion programs in collaboration with People partners
- Interpreting people analytics and workforce data to inform decisions, identify trends, and improve organizational outcomes
- Contributing to the design and execution of People initiatives tailored to business and regional needs
- Managing employee relations workflows and ticketing systems, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality resolution of requests
- 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or related business roles (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 3+ years of direct employee relations experience, including performance management and workplace investigations
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment and labor laws, with at least 2+ years of applied experience
- Proven experience coaching leaders and influencing decision-making in a matrixed organization
- Ability to interpret data and people metrics to support strategic workforce decisions
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting organizational change, talent development, and cross-functional People initiatives
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience with HR systems, case management tools, or ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk or similar)
- Competitive base salary range: $103,200 – $273,700 USD/year
