Why this role matters:
We’re looking for an innovative, self-motivated Organic Social Media Specialist to help shape and scale Vonage’s organic social presence. This role plays a critical part in strengthening our brand, engaging global audiences, and amplifying key moments across the business.
Sitting at the intersection of brand, content, and digital performance, you’ll drive both the strategy and execution of organic social, ensuring everything we publish is aligned to business goals, resonates with our audiences, and reflects a clear, consistent voice.
You’ll collaborate closely across Corporate Marketing including PR/Communications, Events, Content, Campaigns and our API and Applications business units to define and deliver a cohesive, insight-led social content calendar and messaging strategy.
We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of organic social best practices, strong social copywriting skills in English, and a proven ability to ideate and create engaging, platform-native content. Experience boosting organic content to targeted audiences is essential. Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite and Monday.com is a plus.
What you will do:
Organic Social Strategy & Execution
- Support the execution of a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with Vonage’s brand narrative and business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day organic social activity across platforms including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
- Own social media calendar management including planning, scheduling, and publishing content while ensuring alignment to key campaigns and moments.
Content Creation, Copywriting & Ideation
- Write compelling, platform-native social copy in fluent, high-quality English that reflects Vonage’s tone of voice.
- Ideate and develop engaging, insight-led content tailored to different audiences and channels.
- Partner with Communications, Events, Brand, and Content teams to source, create, and optimize content for social distribution.
- Translate complex topics (i.e. technology, AI, CX) into accessible, engaging social-first narratives.
Amplification & Engagement
- Support boosting of organic content to targeted audiences to expand reach, engagement, and follower growth.
- Leverage employee advocacy tools (GaggleAmp Advocacy) to amplify key messages across employee networks.
- Monitor and engage with social conversations, including amplification of Vonage, Ericsson, and employee content where relevant.
Performance & Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report on social performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly), using insights to continuously optimize content and strategy.
- Ensure proper QA and tracking across social and display campaigns.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and best practices to continuously evolve our approach.
What you will bring:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in organic and/or paid social media roles.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English, with exceptional social copywriting skills.
- Proven ability to ideate and create engaging, high-performing social content.
- Deep understanding of organic social media best practices, platform nuances, and audience engagement strategies.
Desirable
- Experience managing B2B social media channels, ideally within a global organization.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools such as Hootsuite and project management platforms like Monday.com.
- Experience boosting organic content and working with paid amplification strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
