Director of Demand Generation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Demand Generation based in the United States.

This role is a senior marketing leadership position responsible for building and scaling full-funnel demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth. You will design and execute integrated strategies across digital, ABM, events, and content-driven campaigns, ensuring consistent impact across the entire customer journey. Acting as a key growth driver within the marketing organization, you will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to align on targets and optimize performance. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, data-driven B2B environment. You will be expected to translate insights into scalable programs that improve acquisition, conversion, and retention. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of creativity, analytics, and operational rigor while contributing to mission-driven growth in the financial services technology space.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and own the end-to-end demand generation strategy aligned with company growth objectives, revenue targets, and go-to-market priorities, ensuring measurable pipeline impact in paragraph format.
  • Lead full-funnel marketing programs across awareness, engagement, conversion, and pipeline acceleration to drive consistent revenue outcomes.
  • Design and execute integrated multi-channel campaigns including digital, email, paid media, webinars, events, and ABM initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to align lead management, pipeline goals, and performance metrics.
  • Optimize lead scoring, nurturing, and routing systems to improve lead quality and sales conversion efficiency.
  • Oversee marketing technology, automation platforms, attribution models, and analytics to ensure accurate reporting and actionable insights.
  • Manage demand generation budget allocation, vendor relationships, and ROI optimization across channels.
  • Lead continuous experimentation, A/B testing, and campaign optimization to improve performance and scalability.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, with 10+ years of B2B marketing experience and 5+ years in a senior demand generation leadership role in paragraph format.
    • Proven expertise in building and scaling full-funnel demand generation strategies that drive qualified pipeline and revenue growth.
    • Strong experience in B2B environments such as SaaS, IT, or financial services, with a deep understanding of revenue marketing principles.
    • Hands-on expertise with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred).
    • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in attribution modeling, funnel analysis, and performance reporting.
    • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Sales on ABM, pipeline acceleration, and revenue alignment initiatives.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
    • Strong project management, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.
