This role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, clinical diagnostics, and complex technical project delivery, ensuring the successful installation and implementation of advanced laboratory equipment across hospitals, reference labs, and healthcare facilities. You will act as the central coordination point between clinical customers, hospital IT teams, facilities stakeholders, and internal technical teams, driving end-to-end project execution from planning through installation and handover. The position requires strong organizational discipline, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-impact deployments in parallel. Working remotely while traveling extensively across the United States, you will oversee timelines, resources, and compliance requirements to ensure seamless equipment integration. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on laboratory performance and patient care outcomes. You will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support scalable deployment processes within a global diagnostics environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for clinical laboratory equipment installations, ensuring timely execution, alignment with customer expectations, and compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, coordinating communication across hospital departments, IT teams, facilities, and technical specialists.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, risk logs, documentation, and status reports throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Manage on-site and remote coordination of internal resources, equipment logistics, and installation schedules to ensure successful deployments.
  • Oversee issue resolution, post-installation follow-ups, and formal project closure, ensuring smooth handover to sales and service teams.
  • Track project performance, identify risks and delays, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery quality and schedule integrity.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with 2+ years of experience in project management, ideally within healthcare, diagnostics, or clinical laboratory environments.
    • Strong understanding of clinical diagnostics, laboratory operations, and healthcare regulatory frameworks.
    • PMP eligibility or equivalent real-world project management experience preparing for certification.
    • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in fast-paced, technical environments.
    • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 80% of the time.
    • Physical capability to handle on-site requirements, including lifting equipment up to 50 lbs when necessary.
    • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills with experience producing structured project artifacts (plans, risk logs, communication frameworks).
    • Experience with tools such as Smartsheet is a plus.
