As a Tableau Account Executive for Public Sector in Norway, you will drive new sales growth by proactively building pipeline and nurturing strong customer relationships. You'll represent Tableau across the full sales cycle — from prospecting and account planning through to negotiation and closing — with a strong focus on customer success and delivering real value. Primary Responsibilities:
Build and execute territory and account plans for Tableau Public Sector in Norway to hit sales targets.
Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities — pipeline building is a core part of this role.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team (Sales Consultants, BDRs, Marketing, Customer Success) to grow the pipeline and strengthen customer relationships.
Drive customer success by understanding customers' business challenges and delivering real value throughout the sales cycle.
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in our CRM.
Participate in team planning, sales training, and marketing activities.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
3+ years of sales experience, with a track record of delivering results.
Passionate about prospecting and building relationships from the ground up.
Curious about data and analytics; experience with Tableau or BI tools is a plus.
Strong communicator who collaborates well and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Solution-oriented mindset — you listen, understand the challenge, and articulate clear value.

Fluent in English and Norwegian.
