Senior Account Strategist

This role sits at the intersection of strategic consulting, digital marketing, and client success within the healthcare digital ecosystem. You will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise and mid-sized clients, guiding long-term digital strategies that align with business objectives and drive measurable online performance. Working closely with cross-functional subject matter experts, you will translate analytics, market trends, and client needs into actionable recommendations and growth opportunities. The role blends relationship management, strategic planning, and consultative sales, with direct influence on account growth, retention, and expansion. You will regularly engage with senior and executive-level stakeholders, helping shape digital initiatives across complex healthcare organizations. This is a highly visible role where your insights directly impact client success and overall digital transformation outcomes.
Accountabilities
- Lead long-term account strategy by understanding client business goals, healthcare market dynamics, and digital performance data to develop actionable growth plans.
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, including multi-location healthcare organizations and complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Facilitate strategic client sessions with executives and committees, presenting insights, recommendations, and digital roadmaps.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on digital marketing solutions, healthcare digital strategy, and platform capabilities.
- Identify, nurture, and expand revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling of digital products and services.
- Monitor account health, manage escalations, and communicate critical updates to ensure strong client relationships and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated, cross-functional solutions that align with client and business objectives.
- Contribute to process improvements, mentoring peers, and supporting the overall development of the account strategy function.
- 5+ years of experience in account strategy, digital consulting, marketing strategy, or client success roles.
- Strong background in strategic marketing, digital engagement, or healthcare-related digital environments preferred.
- Proven ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders and navigate committee-based decision-making structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, paid media platforms, and digital marketing channels is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive account expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
