Life Insurance Sales Agent
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Life Insurance Sales Agent based in Canada.
This is a fully remote, high-performance sales role focused on helping clients secure the right life, critical illness, and disability insurance coverage based on their individual needs. You will work with high-quality inbound leads, guiding clients through consultative conversations that prioritize trust, clarity, and long-term financial protection. The role combines sales execution with relationship-building, requiring a strong ability to understand client goals and translate them into suitable insurance solutions. You will operate within a structured, supportive environment that includes administrative assistance and a steady flow of leads. This position is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who thrives in a results-driven setting and is motivated by both client impact and sales success. Accountabilities:
Manage the full sales cycle for life insurance products, from lead engagement to policy activation, while delivering an excellent client experience.
- Convert inbound digital leads into closed life insurance policies
- Assess client needs and recommend tailored life, critical illness, and disability insurance solutions
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with new and existing clients
- Deliver high-quality customer service throughout the advisory and sales process
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and competitive offerings
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal sales processes
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets in a commission-based environment
- Maintain accurate records and effectively use CRM and sales tools
- Valid Ontario LLQP license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of insurance sales experience with proven success in a quota-driven environment
- Strong background in consultative and relationship-based sales
- Experience working in insurance or financial services (bank or brokerage experience is an asset)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client interactions
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and digital sales tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote, performance-driven environment

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in life insurance or financial services sales, with a demonstrated track record of closing deals and meeting performance targets. Strong licensing and client-facing sales capability are essential.
