This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Territory Account Executive – SMB based in India.

This role focuses on driving new business growth and expanding relationships within the SMB segment across South India. You will act as a strategic hunter, responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new customers while also expanding existing accounts through consultative selling. The position involves managing complex, end-to-end sales cycles and positioning enterprise-grade CRM and cloud solutions to business and C-level stakeholders. You will play a key role in helping organizations adopt digital transformation strategies powered by modern CRM and AI-driven tools. Working in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment, you will be supported by strong pre-sales and internal sales teams while maintaining ownership of your pipeline and revenue targets. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving measurable business outcomes in a competitive market.

Accountabilities:

  • Drive new business acquisition within the SMB segment across South India through proactive prospecting and outreach.
  • Manage full sales cycles from lead generation to closure, including negotiations and contract execution.
  • Expand existing customer accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and business decision-makers.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and articulate the value of CRM and enterprise solutions in a consultative manner.
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue using CRM tools while ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as pre-sales and marketing to accelerate deal closure and customer success.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance targets.
  • Requirements:

    • 3–9 years of experience in quota-carrying B2B software or technology sales roles.
    • Proven track record of closing deals and managing complex sales cycles in the South India market.
    • Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets (top performance preferred).
    • Strong experience in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies is highly preferred.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM platforms).
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and target-driven environment.
