Sr. Offensive Security Consultant (Alpha Group)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Offensive Security Consultant (Alpha Group) based in the United States.

This is a senior-level offensive security role focused on uncovering real-world attack paths across complex enterprise environments. You will lead advanced penetration testing and red team engagements across web applications, APIs, networks, cloud platforms, and mobile systems, helping organizations understand and remediate critical security risks. The role blends deep hands-on technical execution with client-facing consulting, requiring the ability to translate complex vulnerabilities into clear, actionable risk narratives for both technical teams and executive stakeholders. You will operate in high-impact environments where precision, creativity, and adversary mindset are essential. In addition to leading engagements, you will mentor junior consultants and contribute to improving offensive security methodologies and research. This is a highly collaborative, remote-friendly role with exposure to diverse enterprise security challenges across industries.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end offensive security engagements including penetration testing across web applications, APIs, internal and external networks, and enterprise systems.
  • Conduct advanced application security assessments focused on authentication weaknesses, business logic flaws, and complex attack paths.
  • Execute red team operations simulating real-world adversaries to evaluate detection, response, and resilience capabilities.
  • Perform cloud security assessments across environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, identifying misconfigurations and exploitation opportunities.
  • Carry out mobile application security testing for both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Develop custom payloads, exploit techniques, and tooling to support advanced testing scenarios.
  • Produce detailed technical reports with proof-of-concept demonstrations and communicate findings to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal offensive security methodologies and practices.
  • Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red team operations within consulting or client-facing environments.
    • Strong expertise in web application, API, internal/external network penetration testing, including Active Directory environments.
    • Proven experience leading red team engagements and advanced adversary simulations.
    • Strong ability to write detailed technical reports and clearly communicate security risks to diverse audiences.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business impact.
    • Hands-on experience with enterprise security assessments across complex infrastructures and cloud environments.
    • Offensive security certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, OSEP, or CRTO are considered strong advantages.
