Supply Chain Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Supply Chain Manager based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of supply chain strategy, analytics, and advanced data-driven decision-making, with a strong focus on planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and procurement. You will help design and scale supply chain analytics solutions that transform how clients plan and manage demand, supply, and inventory performance. The position combines domain expertise with consulting and solution design responsibilities, requiring you to translate complex business challenges into practical, scalable analytics use cases. You will collaborate with data, AI, and technology teams to build impactful solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, inventory efficiency, and operational performance. This is a leadership-oriented role where you will also guide teams, shape methodologies, and contribute to building reusable assets and accelerators. The environment is highly collaborative, global, and innovation-driven, with strong exposure to modern analytics and AI-enabled supply chain transformation.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and support the development of supply chain analytics solutions focused on planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and procurement.
  • Translate business challenges into data-driven use cases, solution concepts, and implementation approaches for clients.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including discovery workshops, RFPs, proposals, scoping, and solution design.
  • Guide delivery teams by providing subject matter expertise on supply chain planning processes, KPIs, and business adoption.
  • Develop reusable assets such as forecasting models, dashboards, and supply chain performance tools.
  • Manage, mentor, and coordinate consultants and project team members within supply chain analytics engagements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements, analytics design, and technical implementation.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of supply chain offerings.
  • Requirements:

    • Approximately 15 years of experience in supply chain, consulting, analytics, or related fields.
    • Strong expertise in at least one core area: demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or procurement.
    • Solid experience in supply chain analytics, including dashboards, forecasting models, or optimization tools.
    • Deep understanding of key supply chain metrics such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, and safety stock.
    • Proven experience in client-facing roles such as consulting, solution design, workshops, or pre-sales activities.
    • Experience managing teams, mentoring professionals, or coordinating project workstreams.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into analytics or AI-driven solution designs in collaboration with technical teams.
    • Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex supply chain concepts.
    • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations is essential.
    • Exposure to modern BI, cloud, and analytics platforms is a plus.
