This is a senior engineering leadership role focused on building and scaling identity security systems that protect millions of users and devices globally. You will lead high-performing teams responsible for Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) and Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM), shaping the technical direction of mission-critical cybersecurity products. The role combines deep technical leadership with strong people management, requiring someone who can guide architecture decisions, elevate engineering practices, and accelerate delivery in a fast-moving SaaS environment. You will collaborate closely with product, architecture, and security experts to design scalable, resilient identity platforms. This is a hands-on leadership position where engineering excellence, execution speed, and customer impact are tightly connected. Accountabilities:
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for identity security platforms (ITDR and ISPM)
- Lead, scale, and develop engineering teams, including hiring and mentoring engineering managers
- Own delivery of scalable, high-performance identity systems supporting millions of identities
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and development processes across teams
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and security teams to align technical execution with strategy
- Drive roadmap execution and ensure consistent delivery of customer value
- Champion adoption of modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development tools
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across the platform
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or distributed systems environments
- 5+ years in engineering leadership roles at director level or above
- Strong experience building and scaling identity, authentication, or security platforms
- Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, MFA, and related IAM concepts
- Proven experience managing and growing remote engineering teams
- Strong background in distributed systems and large-scale platform architecture
- Experience with hiring, coaching, and performance management of engineering leaders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to align technical and business stakeholders
- Strong execution mindset with experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments
