This role sits at the heart of strategic sourcing for technology-driven businesses, where you will manage high-impact procurement decisions across SaaS, cloud, AI, telco systems, and enterprise software ecosystems. You will be responsible for driving commercial value through vendor negotiations, contract structuring, and cost optimization across multiple markets. The position requires close collaboration with technical, product, finance, and legal stakeholders to ensure procurement decisions align with both business and technology needs. You will operate in a fast-paced, global environment where agility, precision, and independent judgment are critical. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement activities for technology and telco-related categories, ensuring strong commercial outcomes, risk management, and vendor performance across global operations.
- Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contract execution for SaaS, cloud, AI, hardware, software, and professional services spend.
- Manage SaaS implementations from a procurement standpoint, including vendor evaluation, pricing analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Drive renewals and renegotiations for enterprise and SaaS platforms to ensure optimal cost and service terms.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, IT, Finance, Legal, and business teams to translate requirements into sourcing strategies.
- Identify and execute cost optimization opportunities across licensing, cloud consumption, renewals, and vendor contracts.
- Review and govern contracts, ensuring strong SLAs, compliance, risk mitigation, and commercial protections.
- Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and service levels, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support procurement operations teams to ensure smooth execution, documentation, approvals, and end-to-end process governance.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong procurement expertise within technology, SaaS, or telecom environments, with a proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- 8–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or commercial roles.
- Strong experience negotiating with technology and telco vendors (e.g., SaaS providers, cloud hyperscalers, system integrators, enterprise software firms).
- Deep understanding of SaaS, cloud, software licensing, AI services, and professional services commercial models.
- Proven track record in cost optimization, vendor negotiations, renewals, and contract management.
- Ability to engage with technical stakeholders and translate requirements into sourcing and negotiation strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
- Experience working in global or regional procurement environments across multiple markets.
- Familiarity with telco BSS/OSS, enterprise SaaS, or cloud infrastructure is highly advantageous.
