This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner company, Nebius, is looking for a Transportation Logistics Specialist based in the United States.

This role sits at the heart of global hardware movement for a fast-scaling AI infrastructure environment. You will oversee the end-to-end logistics of high-value IT equipment, including servers, racks, and data center hardware. The position spans domestic US transportation as well as international freight flows, primarily between Asia and the United States. You will ensure timely, secure, and cost-efficient delivery of critical infrastructure supporting large-scale AI operations. Working in a highly cross-functional setup, you will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and data center teams. The environment is fast-paced, operationally intensive, and focused on precision, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations for IT hardware, including domestic US transport, inbound international shipments (notably from Asia), and outbound freight as required, ensuring timely and damage-free delivery of all equipment.
  • Coordinate carrier selection, booking, tracking, and execution for ocean, air, and ground freight while proactively managing exceptions, delays, and route optimization.
  • Oversee RMA/RMS reverse logistics processes, ensuring accurate coordination with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain shipment visibility, chain-of-custody documentation, and accurate in-transit inventory records across logistics systems.
  • Develop contingency routing strategies and manage time-sensitive or expedited shipments when required.
  • Collaborate with data center teams to align logistics flows with staging, deployment schedules, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international transport regulations, while enforcing SLAs, KPIs, and security protocols with logistics partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance tracking, root cause analysis, cost monitoring, and process standardization.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in transportation, freight, or logistics roles, ideally within technology, data center, or hardware-focused supply chains.
    • Proven expertise in managing domestic and international freight operations (LTL/FTL, air, and ocean), including coordination with carriers, 3PLs, and freight forwarders.
    • Hands-on experience with reverse logistics, including RMA/RMS workflows and returns processing.
    • Familiarity with logistics systems such as TMS platforms, Jira, or equivalent shipment tracking and documentation tools.
    • Strong understanding of US DOT regulations, customs clearance, import/export compliance, and international shipping requirements.
    • Experience handling high-value, heavy, or sensitive hardware such as servers and data center equipment.
    • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across technical and operational teams.
    • Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
    • Based in the United States, preferably in East Coast or Midwest time zones to support global coordination.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and location
      • Opportunities for career growth in a rapidly expanding AI infrastructure environment
      • Flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance
      • Exposure to global logistics operations and international supply chains
      • Collaborative, high-performance, and innovation-driven culture
      • Opportunity to contribute to impactful, large-scale AI infrastructure projects
      • Work within a diverse, international team environment.
